The Best Laser Colour for Freckle Removal
Have you ever heard more about Freckle Removal? Then please read this! Once a dermatologist decides that the brown spots are cancer free freckles, removal can be begun. One method is the laser. This is a highly successful procedure. The pigment that comprises freckles, known as melanin, absorbs wave lengths longer than ultraviolet. Consequently, all colored lights will be readily absorbed, as they are all longer than ultraviolet. The most readily absorbed color is green, and green light lasers have the highest rate of success. Other available colors in order of increasing wavelength include purple, blue, yellow, orange, and red lights. Longer still is infrared light, which is invisible. It is not ideal because of this, and green light is much more commonly used. Removal is usually painless and only vaguely uncomfortable. Any topical numbing usually is unnecessary before beginning procedures. Some possible side effects are crusting of the skin or bruising. These generally vanish after a week or two of the procedure. Before considering removing freckles, consult a dermatologist to make sure that skin is cancer free. If the freckles are proven to be harmless, laser treatment with a green light is most effective. Anesthesia is not needed, and any side effects disappear after two weeks.
